Hi guys. Firstly I would like to say what a great set of converters, thanks.
I'm trying to convert dvr-ms files, Windows Media Center 2005 Recorded TV, to Apple TV using the HDTV 720p profile.
I generally have two problems:
1) Audio sync
2) Aspect ratio
The audio sync on conerted file seems to be out on most programmes, audio several seconds behind video. The audio is always in sync when played using Media Center or Media Player on the original.
The aspect ratio always seems to be picked up as 4:3, even on 16:9 programmes, when viewed in QuickTime. The aspect ratio when converting only allows 'original' to be selected, even in the latest release 2.19. Is this due to QuickTime not detecting the aspect ratio and displaying as square pixels (720x576 resolution). If I load the mp4 generated file into Nero 6, it picks up the aspect ration correctly.
If I use the latest iPod converter 2.19 and convert down to QVGA for a 320x240 screen size, I get a file with 320x218 resolution. Still not 16:9 ratio (320x180), but better than 4:3.
Any suggestions?
