I converted a joined VOB file with 2.17's 480X272 786kbps Stereo/128kbps 2 PASS. The resulting mp4 looked fantastic but the audio plays at double speed (yes it sounded like the Alvin and the Chipmunks) and is therefore finished half way through the movie. Am I missing something? 2.15 worked great but I really wanted the 2 PASS feature. Thanks for any help you can give.

I experienced a similar thing with the current version 2.25: the video is okay (also the length is correct) but audio runs at a very high speed. After some testing I found a solution that works for me. In the Audio section of the profile, I set the Channels button to "Original" instead of "Stereo". I do not exactly know why this works, but I noticed that in my original AVI file only one audio channel was coded. So when the setting is Stereo, PSP Video may be spreading the one channel over two-channels and then uses up the audio data in half the time?
Maybe this solution works for other people as well.

This happens when you try to convert a mono audio source to stereo. Render it in mono and it will sound right.
