files and formats

i tried looking for what formats videora can take, but couldn't find so could someone help me out?



also, I'm having trouble understanding what the new profiles differ from one another

For the most part, anything that can be played in Windows Media Player.

What about RealPlayer files? Because it seems the program can't upload my realplayer files to iTunes....?

I don't think realplayer files work... they may work if you get some codec called Real Alternative, but I don't have it, so I can't vouch for it.

Yep... some file types will require an intermediate conversion to something else that the converter will handle. I haven't played much with converting RM files but to the best of my knowledge, Premiere started supporting them at least as far back as verision 6. It's an expensive solution and I'm sure there are others.
