I'm trying to convert a wmv file to the iPod file. I go through everything and it converts in like 23 seconds, and this file is 320MB and over an hour long. So yeah I tried that copy the text and that didn't work. So i can't even get a console cause when I press that ab, there's nothing there what do i do? Thanks a lot for your help! :)

highlight text, use ctl-c to copy, then ctl-v to paste here.

That's the strangest source video I've ever seen... it apparently has 3 audio streams and 4 video streams. I'm not sure what to make of it.

What that mean? I tried converting it 3 times, maybe that affected it? Also I did that wizard and made it all the "best" quality and sound. I just copied what it said. Does anyone know what I should do?

This is the problem:

Input #0, asf, from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sum_41_Go_Chuck_Yourself_2005.wmv':
Duration: 01:10:26.3, start: 15.000000, bitrate: 599 kb/s
MSG - FFmpeg - Video Length is 4226s
Stream #0.0: Audio: wmav2, 44100 Hz, mono, 48 kb/s
Stream #0.1: Audio: wmav2, 22050 Hz, mono, 20 kb/s
Stream #0.2: Video: wmv3, 424x240, 1000.00 fps(r)
Stream #0.3: Video: wmv3, 424x240, 1000.00 fps(r)
Stream #0.4: Video: wmv3, 240x136, 1000.00 fps(r)
Stream #0.5: Audio: wmav2, 11025 Hz, mono, 10 kb/s
Stream #0.6: Video: wmv3, yuv420p, 192x108, 30.00 fps(r)
swScaler: Unknown format is not supported as input format

All those streams probably shouldn't be there. Ideally, you'ld want one of each.

hmmm ok, well how do I get rid of them? Should I just start over? What should I do?

You probably don't. Some files just aren't going to get converted. If there was one piece of software that converted everything and did it easily... everyone would know about it and everyone would be using it. Heck... Microsoft would have bought it by now and included it part of Windows.

So wait, I can't convert my file?!!?!?!?!?

Midiman

Probably not without jumping through a lot of hoops that don't involve the Videora Converter.

One option would be to use a program like VirtualDub (which I don't know works with wmv files anyway) to strip one of the audio sources. Then use an AVISynth script to combine the two and convert that. If you figure out how to strip an audio track from your video, you can use the AVS Maker program below to combine your video and audio into an AVISynth script automatically.
