I have been using the ipod converter for a couple weeks.....very nice. I am going to try the apple tv converter shortly.

My question relates to DVD decrypter...I have seen posts on here that relate to getting newer movies to copy. I am new to this and don't know the things to change in order to try different things. Right now I using IFO mode with no file splitting (so it gives me a single file). I enable stream processing and pick the video and audio files only. It seems to work great for the older movies but I would like to try Night at the Museum that I purchased on DVD last night on my new Apple TV.

Does anybody have some suggestions of things I can try? Remember I am a novice and don't really understand what the different modes are doing and what all the options mean.

Thanks,
Mike

Try ripit4me. It uses DVD Decrypter, so you won't have to learn much more.

Use the Wizard Mode. In the first step, select Movie Only, and Don't forget to set a Default Audio Track!

When it's done, use a program called VOBMerge to combine the multiple VOBs it creates, so you only have to do one conversion (instead of converting 5-6 short VOB files for each movie).

Always try to use DVD Decrypter alone first, though. It's just easier.

The programs above can be found via a simple google search.
