I'm able to browse to my iMac from the wii, ( and from a browser on my mac ),
yet I can't get to my files. I can get as far as my /user/home, but any picture
files in there are "unauthorised". Moving a file to my Public folder in OSX doesn't
help either. What am I missing? ( all the files have read/execute permission for all )

Zach
iMac G5 OSX 10.4.8

Update: So it turns out that if I put an picture in the my_home/mediacenter_xjar/software/Pictures/images
Folder, I can see it. Does this mean I need to move all my pictures to this folder, for them to be
served up?? Gosh, I have a TON of pictures in my iPhoto folder structure that I'd like to be able to
view without re-arranging, or moving around?

I'm getting the same errors. I also don't see how to configure the Music and Video functions; all I've been able to do is to navigate the file system using the Files function. A little documentation would sure be nice.

Neodolphin confirms my suspicion. To Quote:

** begin quote **
You must put all of your music file in:
C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\Media Center\software\Music\music
all of your images files in:
C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\Media Center\software\Pictures\images
etc
** end quote **

Apparently he accomplishes this by setting softlinks under windows 2000.
I tried the same on a mac ( "ln -s" command in a terminal window ), but the
meidacenter still has an error saying my file is "aliased resource".

Oh well..
