Is it possible to convert more than on files into the same final movie? And if so, How?

Most things are possible... although not with ViC. How, is dependant on what kind of files you have.

You can combine multiple files using AVISynth before converting.
Otherwise, search for "Yamb" via Google which will allow you to join the multiple output files into one.

This is complicated. If your source is a DVD, then you should have only one file to start with; if you have more than one, you are ripping incorrectly.
If you just want to join multiple files into one so you can view it in one stream on your ipod, I suggest using Yamb. What you'd do is convert the multiple files, open Yamb and go to the Split/Join tab. Then you'd select the mp4 files and join them into one. Very simple.

My source is a dvd. I downloaded yamb, and I know what to do, but it starts joining and after a minute or so the process fails.

If your source was a DVD then you ripped it wrong and shouldn't be dealing with this. Follow these instructions...
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html#1000
and you will end up with a single vob file to convert...
