stuck! please help! cannot convert video file into specified directory

hi everyone, whenever I try to convert a .avi file i keep getting this error message
what can i do?? please help :(

" Your converted video could not be created in the specified directory."

I'd need to see a log. First, try not storing or creating anything in the Documents and Settings folder. Create a new folder on the C: drive and put your videos there.
