I could not find this error any were on the forums so, I shall post it here.
When trying to install the new Ipod Converter I keep getting this error:
Download Failed: Resolving Hostname.
I have no clue how to fix this or what it means. I am sure it will be something simple, but any help is nice.
Thanks in advance!

I'm having some trouble reaching certain sections/pages on the site as well. Not sure what's up with that.

I getr redirected to dailymac.org and a page not found error when I try to download the program. Links to typical pages we use for tutorials don't work... and links to the page avs maker is on don't work. The Videora link in the top tool bar on this page also redirects to a dailymac.org page. Something's goofy.

While migrating servers yesterday late afternoon, our hosting company made a HUGE mistake and pointed the Videora site to that dailymac site and not our new server.
Naturally we are QUITE unhappy about this and were only able to fix the problem this morning (at ~10am EST). It will take several hours for the internet to update itself and start pointing to our new servers so please be patient. Our website will return soon.

Thanks for the update! I will try again later.
Now, I mean this error happens after I have DLed it from the website and try installing.. I am not sure if I was clear on that point or not. Thanks again for your help!

I get this same error too. I downloaded the software from your website, and when i tried to install it, this error. I first thought it had something to do with having the right Java installed, so i updated my java, but that was troublesome too because for some reason the automatic installer wouldnt work, so i had to use an alternate means, by installing java via the offline version (its a bigger file that downloads all the file componenents straight to your computer so you can install them without the use of the internet).
I think this has something to do with the way my home network is set up (connects to my cpu, my wii, and my sisters laptop using wi-fi and a linksys router) of course im not 100 percent sure. I turned off my firewall (it was off to begin with, i turned it on, then turned it off again) nothing. My guess is it has something to do with proxy settings which i never messed with so...
if possible is there a way to install wii video 9 without havin the application connect to the internet to complete installation? If not, how can i install the program, or what could be the cause of the error, and solutions?
Sorry, i know this email is an inconvenience for you, as the error message is for me...

During the installation, ViC installs .NET components from Microsoft if they are not found on your computer.
I've recently downloaded Ipod Converter 2.25. I'm currently expeiriencing the problem where a message pops up while it is trying to install the program. I get the message saying "Download Failed: resolving hostname" can anyone help? I have no idea how downloading has anything to do with installing. something weird is going on please help!:(
