Hi,
I tried three Video converters by now (MediaCoder, SUPER and PSP Video 9) and found only PSP9 to be easy to use and offering good results.
It may be due to my needs, that I did not feel satisfied with the other apps, I use PSP9 to encode webcasts (small file-size). I have none of the supported consoles at all ;-) (Only a PS2).
So I was wondering, whether you could add a possibility to allow the user to configure the supported devices and profiles so much, that it would become a different beast to the outside. All that'd be needed would be creation of the UI elements based on available console-strings in the XML prefs and an option to hide the "Device" library.
So I would simply replace PSP with Webcast and add profiles for Webcast-Low/Med/High and so on. I truly believe, that wouldn't be too much work, judging by the many times you name the consoles already in the prefs. I did a quick check yesterday, but it seems some of the strings are hardcoded.
Please, could you change this ? And maybe add an option to create FLV video as well (ffmpeg does it). I know this sounds unorthodox, but it would be truly fitting for different works as well. Thanks.
