View Full Version : Videora Keeps Deleting Converted Files

I just began using Videora 2.19 after hearing so many good reviews but can't seem to get it right.

I tried converting a copy of 300 from a DVDrip to Itunes using the 'H.264 384kbps Stereo 128kbps' default setting but kept getting a 'movie atom' warning anytime I tried to play in Quicktime or MediaPlayer. I switched to the 'MPEG4 QVGA 1024kbps Stereo 128kbps' setting and this worked ok but quality sucked especially on full screen (I use my Ipod to TV a lot).

So I got a short music video clip and tried to convert using the VGA or other settings and adjusting the quality on the video wizard thing but now everything keeps getting deleted. The console reports 'unable to open destination file' and then deletes the newly converted file. I have also noticed that it is now tagging the files as MP4-1 which nothing recognizes as a valid movie file-type.

I don't know much about any of this stuff so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry. Yes I am using Vista. My computer is only a week old so all versions of Itunes, Quicktime and Videora are the newest ones available.

You may be running into file compatibility issues in Vista. Try clicking the compatibility files button in Windows Exlorer.
