I'm having the same problem. What do you mean by store it some place else? I dragged the video I wanted out of my documents onto my desktop and tried converting again but the same error comes up. How do I fix it?

When you say post a log, are you asking me to post a step by step method of how I convert the video?

That's EXACTLY why Davi921 needs to start his own thread. Now I have the original thread owner confused by a side conversation going on.

This is kinda simple... create a couple of folders... like "Source Files" and "Converted Files"... on your C: drive. Store your video files in the Source folder... tell ViC to save it's files in the Converted folder (remember to click Save Device Settings after you do this...

Now I need to see a console log...
To generate a console log, please follow these steps.
1. Click on the "Console" tab and check the "Enable Console" box.
2. Start encoding the video that failed as you normally would.
3. Cancel the conversion after ~10 seconds by clicking the "Abort" button.
4. Go back to the "Console" tab
5. Copy the console log (highlight text, use CTL-C) up until the lines where it starts saying "frame=..."
6. Paste the text into a message here using CTL-V

If you have a problem, please start your own thread. You just replied to one that has been dead for a month and isn't yours.
