lol now i just retured my ipod video because of some prblems i had now i just got a new ipod nano 4 GB how can i get ipodlunix for that?

It appears to be unsupported on the ipodlinux.org site. There is a lot of information there if you're willing to take the time to read and understand it. If you're not willing, I would suggest that installing linux on an unsupported model (like the nano) might be a bit over-ambitious as there could be a lot of effort and trial-and-error involved.

ok so im pobably not going with lunix anymore because obvsiatly its not working with my iPod version so is thre anything else that i can download similar to lunix? like any hacks or anything?

Only one I can suggest is rockbox? http://www.rockbox.org/ I'm a big fan. Supports lost of different filetypes and Replaygain.

Why are you interested in hacking your iPod anyway?

Well, you realize that ipodlinux is a whole other operating system, right? If you load it onto your machine that, in theory, your iPod warranty becomes null and void. It's not just a program that easily integrates into your regular iPod system.

Rockbox: click on the link I posted and find out.

I accualy like it, it lets me download more stuff in my ipod like a fm radio, some games and GFI pictures and more.. so yeah i like it how do i download it? btw i clicked ur link i couldn't find where to download rockbox..

The links are on the left side under "Downloads." There is also a "Documentation" section that has manuals to help with installing and operating.

i cant find my generation i dont think it is supported with my ipod. If u can find it for me that would be awsome!!!! If not its ok man i dont want it. so my ipod is a nano (blue) 4 GB

Well from the first page, Apple: iPod 4th gen (grayscale and color), 5th/5.5th gen video, 1st gen Nano and Mini 1st/2nd gen (Nano 2nd gen is not supported) it seems like they don't have one for your nano if you bought it from a store more recently than mid-September.
