Is it possible to run a website I have created from media center X? In what folder would I put it and how would I run it from the browser? Thanks.

Yeah you can. All you have to do is create a folder in the FTP program you are using on your server. Then, just drop all of the files that you would normally use, along with the extra files such as videos, music, etc. Then, just direct your browser to your site and voila. =]

Only thing is, unless you actually pay for good hosting, its useless. This will NOT work on free hosting, because they barely give any space/and or bandwith.

Each time you listen to a song, it uses up about 5MB bandwith, and um. Free websites usually only give like 25mb bandwith or less. Not to mention they barely give any space (maybe 100mb at the most?). Ripped movies are like 700mb.

No I don't think you quite understand what I am talking about. I installed Red Kawa Media Center X. It will allow me to copy my videos, music, and pictures, etc to my ps3, but also, I set up my router so that I can access the media center from outside my network (eg like at my work computer or at my brother's house or whatever) I don't have to worry about bandwidth or hosting, because I would be hosting this server on here, and the bandwidth is simply the bandwidth I have from my local internet connection, while not the best, will still work.

What I'm asking is, I have a website designed and made in a folder within My Documents. I wanted to know if there are any folders that I could copy the website files from My Documents to the Media Center's Program Files folder. Then, what the address would be on the browser (something like http://192.168.1.34:8192/WWW/index.htm or similar)

UPDATE:
never mind, browsing this forum, I found that you can create a directory under the "core" folder. So In the folder "C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\Media Center\core" I created a "WWW" folder, and in there I inserted my web page files.

What url address did you finally use? I'd like to try it with mine. How do you get it pointed to and act upon the index to bring up your web site?
