yes, I am infact kind of a newbie in the ways of the 360. I do own one and play on it a lot, but once I convert a movie how do I actually play it on the 360?

any help would be fantastic!

Using an XP box, setup Windows Media Player v11 to share its media library and connect the 360 to it. Alternatively, you can use TVersity to share your media, which is a lot more versatile, but also a lot more effort to get it working properly.

yeah, i have the media player 11 and I know that you can share things that way, but its not a simple drag and drop type of thing. is it? if it is, im doing something totally wrong.

I would recommend using Zune. The interface is pretty cool - downloads covers for all your videos / mp3's (yes just like WMP) but I found far more intuitive to use over WMP. Never had any problems with it.

Cheers,

Ive been experimenting with WMP and when I try to add a video, I add the folder that its in and then this file search thing comes up and it says adding file, but when it finishes it says there 0 files added even though I converted the movie. Am I doing something totally wrong or something?

Burn it onto a disc to play it.

Or use windows media player - not forgetting to add your Xbox to the allow list for sharing, and adding video as allowed and the right folders
