This program isn't making a whole lot of sense to me. It's trivial to get it running, but how the heck do you configure it? It's not a good sign for us OS X folk that the default file path is in DOS format. I can navigate the file system via "My Files" but clicking on an MP3 or MP4 file gives me a 401 error. How do you set up the Music and Video functions, or run a game? The Settings function for these modules offers no options of any use.

I dunno how far you went installing the program, but i'll put everything i did so you can follow it and try to make it work with your Wii.
Downloaded the file (obviously)
Unzip it
Open the folder inside and take all the contents out and put it in your HOME folder, which will have your username (in my case it says DanielR, and it's found under Macintosh HD, unless you renamed it.)
Open the Terminal Window, which is located in /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
Copy/Paste this: "java -jar MediaCenter.jar"
It will show some stuff in the terminal window after that. When it's done, leave it open and go to your web browser and put this: "http://<put here your IP Address>:8192"
Your web browser should be able to open the Wii Media Center normally.
After that test, go to your Wii and open the Opera Browser and put the same address i typed above, and that should let you open it on your Wii.
OK, so far you can't really view videos or music files for some reason, or at least i can't. There are a few bugs that won't let you do that, and this will be fixed soon (hopefully). Keep in mind that the Opera Browser doesn't work like your PC or Mac Browser, not as good (it's a Trial Version after all).
Well i hope that helped you and whoever is trying to run this program on a Mac. =)

okay, after unzipping the file and leaving mediacenterx_jar on my desktop:
I went into the terminal and typed in:
cd /Users/username/desktop/mediacenterx_jar
Then I typed in:
java -jar mediacenter.jar
This is the only way I got it to work, hopefully you'll find it helpful, because most people's advice of simply typing "java -jar mediacenter.jar" did not work for me at all
