trouble with program.. HELP!!!

Hi i have downloaded the file server program on my laptop and desktop.. i am able to launch it properly and everything...and i also added a folder on doc and settings on my pc labeled "ps3" and put it under shared....now when i go to my ps3's browser and type in the ip the the file server program gives me it wont work whats the problem?

i have tried this 10 times seen every post on this forum... I AM LOST! HELP

Are you using the IP that's in the little box when you open Red Kawa File Server? It should be different on each PC. Are you clicking on the Launch File Server button in the small box BEFORE you enter the IP in the PS3 browser?

i am using the ip that is on the little box on my ps 3 and yes i am launching the app before i even open the PS3 browser.

Did you add it to the Shared Directories in the Media Center? That might help. I have both programs. I only run File Server, though. And I set the Shared Directories with Media Center X.
