I've been scratching my head over this since I tried to upgrade from 2.19 to 2.25.

When I tried to uninstall version 2.19 on my Vista Home Premium pc, I got an error message about App Data/Roaming/Start Menu etc.

THen when I d/l'd 2.25 installed it, I got it to work when it launched after closing the installer but it won't run again until I uninstall it and re-install this version again.

I've been looking for a download of version 2.19 as it worked like a charm, but I'm not having any luck finding a download of the old version.

I've tried to install v 2.25 both with and without avisynth to see if that makes any diff, but so far, it's all the same.

Any and all help gratefully appreciated.

Here is the info that appears in the details when the window comes up that gives the option to close the program or find a solution online and close the program:

Have you gone to update.microsoft.com and updated all the .NET framework stuff? You might have to press the website's Custom button.

Thanks Sketch.

I went to the update page and in vista, it refers me back to the update program in the start menu. It doesn't offer a 'custom' button on that page.

I checked my update history and it appears that all of the .net framework updates are current.

I had the same problem on Vista with 2.25 - instead, I just uninstalled and reinstalled 2.19. I'm sure there will be fixes in the future.

Hi,

2.25 (it's advertised as 2.19 on the site still) doesn't work on my Windows XP at all. The other versions worked fine.

Mine just crashes after clicking the .exe open, with a "send report to windows" thing.

Cheers,

D

Anyone with a link to the old version ?

I've found another program to use in the meantime, but really liked the way this one worked...... when it worked.

defZA, start your own thread please.

audiofool: I've got 2.18 at my office machine. I'll try to upload it.
