Read the very first page you come to when you launch the user guide from the Red Kawa ui.
Or... because for some reason you just didn't read any other posts before asking this question, I'll just save you the time and copy and paste it:

YOU MUST EDIT THE PROGRAM SETTINGS BEFORE DOWNLOADING FILES.

For security reasons, you must specify which directories you want to allow downloading from. By default, you will only be allowed to download files from your "C:\Documents and Settings" directory which includes your "My Documents", "Desktop", "My Videos", etc. folders. If you try to download from any other directory that is not specified you WILL get a Forbidden or 404 error.

To add the directory you want to download from, click the Settings button at the bottom of any of the File Server pages. You should do this on your PC as it will be a lot quicker and not on your PS3.

Thank you captain smart ass....

Actually I did read that and did add my folders. That does not change what folder it links to when you click on the music folder though does it? and that was my question. It simply allows you to access those folders under files.

Would like to add little bit to the original posters question. Is there anyway to direct Media Center X to look elsewhere via alias/shortcut(whatever...) for the files on a Mac with OS X 10.4.10???

Thanks a bunch, looking forward to playing with this program... :D
