You have to use a separate utility called a ripper to copy the DVD to your hard drive... removing CSS encryption and other little uglies lurking out there...hopefully in one chunk instead of 4 or 7... so it can be encoded into a single movie.
Do a web search for DVD Decrypter.

I`ve just downloaded dvd decryptor and tried to decrypt a music dvd. but it had two layers and in the instructions they said that if it said one layer you could start rip but it didnīt say what to do if the dvd got two layers. sholud I just rip the dvd or is it impossible if the dvd got two layers? (i suck at computers and stuff)

You don't want an ISO file. You want to end up with a VOB file.

DVD Shrink is not a decrypter... and anything called ISOanything, will not help you.

now i read the instructions but when i get to the spot where i have to quit DVD encrypter and open videora and thenpress the Transcode New Video button..
i dont have that button! infact, the videora iPod converter looks soo much different at the picture than mine is..

That's because the guide uses an older version. The button you want is "Convert Video" on the Current Conversion tab.

Do they look back in iTunes/Quicktime as well? If so, the easiest way to improve it is increase the bitrate in your profile.

If you delete the file on your computer, it will NOT automatically delete it from your iPod. However, when you are in iTunes and select that file, you will get an ! next to it. Just don't delete it from iTunes and it won't delete it from your iPod.
