My video playback on wii is very choppy and I was just wondering if at all it could be the fact that i'm in the UK and our best internet speed in this area is 2MB (which is what I have). Do you need an american sorta speed for this?

Hey Mega... you're running on your internal network, so your internet speed (2mb) doesn't apply. If your wii has a weak wireless signal, that may explain the choppiness. I'm connected via a 54mbps wireless connection to my wii (802.11g) and it still chops occasionally.

Not sure how to find out about the strength of its signal. I have tried various formats and qualities, but they all turn out the same (with animes anyways).

ok, got it, seems as long as I dont use the top two video sizes, its fine. Just up the quality to top and it doesn't make any differance really anyway. Not exactly sure where the limit is, but im going to try using 400x300 and see how it goes.
