I am trying to run media center x on my Macbook and I was able to get it running with the help of some of the q and a on this forum. Thanks! Now that I don't have a failed socket connection error, I wanted to be able to open it up on the PS3. I tried inputing the IP address with the changed socket number, and I even added the socket number under my firewire settings in the mac's system preferences. I went to the PS3 browser and inputed xxx.xxx.x.x:8194. After that It says the page cannot be displayed. And I looked at the actual url the PS3 tried to go to and for some reason the PS3 keeps adding in a slash right after my IP address "xxx.xxx.x.x/:8194." Now I don't know if that is the problem or if it's something else. I can access the media center if i enter that address in on my mac in a new browser, or even on my PC, but not on the PS3, which is what i wanted. Any help would be appreciated.
