I know my title is pretty dumb, but I'm having trouble making any of my files accessible to the PS3 using media center X. I recently bought a macbook and am much more used to a PC. I know how to find the path using a PC, but have no idea how to with a mac. Basically I don't know how to write a path to add approved download directories. I think that will allow me to see the video and music i have on my computer via the PS3. That's really what i'm trying to do. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for such a basic question but I've tried all i can think of and none of my friends use macs.

It's not dumb, it's a completely different file structure (unix)

Assuming let's say your user name is Pangster on your macbook, and assuming you made a PS3 folder inside your user folder (that being where you put your files to share)

I *believe* the structure should be inputted as:

Users/Pangster/PS3/

I still haven't gotten it running yet, but I believe mine is a different problem. I can see all the files, but not download them :)

Hope this gets you up and running
