H264 works - not MPEG2 :(

Hey there, been using your software for a couple a days and its ace..

One problem though, when i convert a file to H264 MP4, it works great on my 360, however when i convert it to MPEG2 (720p wen its an HD file conversion) my 360 just cannot see the file!

I use a USB stick to watch videos on the 360.. H264 always works fine, but it wont even show any of the MPEG2 files for some reason.... Any ideas?

I want to encode into MPEG2 rather than H264 because the process is muuuuuch quicker.. While MPEG2 takes me about an hour, H264 takes about 5 lol

I have exactly the same problem.
and I want to use MPEG2 cos it is much faster.
any solution?

I don't think the 720p profile is creating a compatible format for the xbox 360, the 360 is very picky about these things! The 480p profiles are fine though, although no good if you want to create HD formatted movie files. :(

I think the mpeg-2 only works through the Media Center Extender, not with USB drives.
