video doesnt show up on psp

I convert the video I want, then transfer it onto the MP_ROOT\100MNV01 folder and it doesn't show up under video on the PSP but it shows that I have less memory left. the video format is MPEG-4 AVC. maybe thats the problem, I don't know.

AVC goes to 100ANV01 folder. .mp4 goes to 100MNV01.

make sure you're not using a later firmware profile and putting it into the old file structure (MP_ROOT\100XXX01) when it should belong in the VIDEO folder they don't work with each other.

well i got mines to work after encountering all the probs alot of ppl have been having. to my surprise i fixed it by creating a folder called VIDEO and placing MP_ROOT inside of it. then i deleted the 100ANV01 and 100MNV01 and started places my converted files into the plain MP_ROOT which was relocated to the newly created VIDEO folder.

NB:
u must go into the settings of yuh psp video software and select the devices tab. then look under device folder u should see the drive yuh psp takes whenever connected to yuh psp for example 'E:\VIDEO' whatver file name u see u create that file and put MP_ROOT in there and if I your prob was the same as mines it should work.
