MP3s do not play on PC

I realise that MP3s do not play on the Wii yet, but I am also not able to play them on my PC through the media centre. When I add a track to the play list, it just sits there and the play button does not work. Anybody else come across this problem?

i tried it and stuck two songs in my folder both from the same cd and one worked while the other didnt, so same problem for me, kinda
