I have finally figured out how to get my PSP to recongnise videos with the help of mos tof the first posts people have made.

Unfortunatly my first post is also a complete newb question!
How do I get the Thumbnails to appear with version 2.25. the old version created a .thm but this version doesnt. What am I missing?

Also as a side note, should all of the video setting listed in the psp profile list work with the psp? (Probably a stupid question)

(I have been using Video9 version 1.0.2002.28535. for the last few years with no problems) After a PC rebuild I discovered I was slightly behind the times!
The file structure which worked fine on the old version doesnt work now, But I am learning.

Thanks for any help.

Thumbnail wise, I couldn't answer that question. That is something i don't really pay attention to personally. generally they're either THM (MP_ROOT\100ANV blah blah) for the legacy stuff and JPG for the newer firmware. I used to do all the legacy stuff but ever since Sony moved over to the VIDEO folder (with firmware 3.30 or later), it had made stuff a lot easier to deal with.

Idealy, all the profiles should work, except for the 2.20 one. At least what I've tested so far. If anything read though the sticky and see what has changed.

unfortunatly, a lot of stuff is going to be trial and error so be prepared to spend some time.

Thanks for the quick reply.

At least I know Im not doing something wrong :)

I will look into a firmware upgrade as well then, this is something I havnt changed in a while either. I havnt bought any new games in a while so no real need for upgrades.

Thanks again.
