file converted to 480x272 with video9 does not work in psp FW3.52 M-33

Has anyone successfully encoded a 480x272 video readable by the psp using Video9 2.25 and PSP firmware 3.40+ OE because for me it does not work!!!!!

- I can encode a file readable on the PC but the PSP cannot play it
- Other resolutions works fine, but not the native 480x272 resolution does not.
- I tried all default preset for 480x272 and manual settings possible,
- all encoders FFmpeg MIMB, FFmpeg_MH MI, FFmpeg MI, 1pass, 2pass
- all codecs MPEG4, MPEG-4 AVC, MJPEG
- all sound codecs AAC-LC, Wav
- auto framerate, manual framerate, avisynth enabled, disabled
- legacy file enabled, disabled
- copied the file in the legacy folders PSP\MP_ROOT\100ANV01 or in the Video folder in root
- Other resolution up to 320x240 worked
- I tried another encoder software (mediacoder 0.6) and the 480x272 movies works fine on the psp!!

so I know its not the firmware, the original movie or the psp, so there is definitively a bug in psp-video9-v2.25 unless some of you say that it worked for you... then I might consider installing the software on another PC to give it a try, otherwise I hope this will be fixed soon because I like pspvideo9 :mad:

I don't do a whole lot of homebrew stuff but I got 3.52 M33-U2 on mine and so far two videos of mine worked. 480x272 and 720x480. The profiles I used were unmodified :
Fw3.30+ AVC 480x272 768kbps Stereo/128kbps
Fw3.30+ AVC 720x480 768kbps Stereo/128kbps

you need to place the files in the VIDEO folder of your psp, not the legacy folders, if using the newer 3.40+ settings.

Works just fine for me, I'm on CFW 3.52 M33 v2. If you'd like I'll send you my custom made profiles for you to use, I like the full widescreen of movies and not the cropped to fully fit the PSP screen. And like the guy above states, place the movies in the VIDEO folder at the root and make sure you not converting them as legacy where the files look like MXX00001.mp4, I too made that mistake and the M33 CFW doesn't seem to like that.
