converting the DVD "300" problems

im trying to convert the IFO file i made of the 300 dvd to psp mp4 format, i used the program dvd decrypter to rip the dvd onto my hard drive first. my problem in converting to mp4 lies within filesizes... basically i et it to good quality video and sound, (not excellent) but it told me the filesize would be 503mb(might have been 530mb, i cant remember) but it goes like normal up to 503 mb and then it dings 100%, but it doesnt stop.... it sits at 100% and the filesize just keeps going up... ive been sitting here wondering when it would stop and whatnot and its up to 1.5gigs now. please help!

Does this sometimes, not sure why, but it does.

this is kind of a known issue. for videos longer than like an hour, the progress bar becomes broken. The only actual reliable data is the number of frames it has processed. If you know the total # of frames your movie contains, you can get a better idea of how much longer til your video finishes.

ok sorry another question, how do i see how many frames are in the movie?

you're gonna have to find a video editor or a player that will give you that information on the total frames. VirtualDUB can be one of them. not sure if Winamp or windows media player would do that.
