Is there any way to change my destination folder? For example I have to place music in to the C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\Media Center\software\Music\music folder. Is there any way to change that so I can just put music in the My Music folder?

Since steaming music is apparently not working, Can I assume your objective is to copy your music files to your PS3?
If that's your objective you can copy direct from My Music to PS3. My Documents and Settings is, by default, an approved directory, right. So, with PS3 Media Center X launched on your PC just navigate to My Music using the PS3 browser and download them one at a time.
Then again, I may not understand your question

I think the question really is how do we change the source folder for the default music application. I store all my music on a seperate drive. It would be nice to map the media center software to any location that we want on our computer.
Is this possible?

Sorry, I guess I don't understand the purpose of changing source folders since they serve no useful purpose that I know of at this point. It's possible Red Kawa may be some future reason for having these set folders for music, video, etc but not now. Capability to achieve objectives of the MCX server as written today is about matching Approved Download Directories with the location of your files.

I dont know if your question makes 100% sense but what I am thinking is that you mean can you change the downloadable folder for media center x in which case you just go to settings, software settings and press general then press the edit button. But you may also mean the source folder for your converter?! in which case you just change that auto...I'm not so sure you are making sense...

Thanks to Mrmatch you can use this program to softlink the two folders http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/FileAndDisk/Junction.mspx and this is the page that the thread was on. http://www.redkawa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=364 I would read that first!

Ok peeps, no laughing ;)
Did a junction, sorted and all works lovely. Was really after pictures and mp3s on my Wii from my shared photos folder, so kinda can see where life is heading - lovely.
Decide that without the slideshow things are a bit pointless (and the slideshow on a PC doesn't cope with different size images) so kinda scrap the idea and think I'll come back in a few months to see development.....
So I uninstall. Oh Sh*t. Part of the uninstall removes the software\pictures\images directory and if you have a junction to your actual pictures (>20000 of them in my case) the software merrily deletes them quicker than I can stop it with a CTRL-ALT-DEL. Now I'm in trouble!
Fortunately I know I have an undelete utility (recycle bin won't help as it is an uninstall not a standard delete). That has about a 50% sucess rate. arrghhhh!!!
Luckily I have located a not too old hard disk with a backup on and a load of memory cards I haven't deleted!
Now I know this is my fault, but it does make me wonder if when developing this, the removal of the images directory should be optional? (ditto for the other directories I guess!)
Really the sensible thing to do is to choose the photos, music and whatever else folders and do not delete them on uninstall.
Anyway, to all out there, take care with that there junction command, make sure you delete the junction before uninstall!
Will post appropriately in associated threads.....
