Sound from only one channel(speaker/earphone)

All the video's I convert only seem to have sound coming from either speaker..
Can someoen help please?
Everything else works great, it's quick AND easy. :D
But the sound is pretty depressing. :/

I don't know what you mean exactly... but I'm pretty sure I've never seen an iPod with speakers built in
