error 404 on u tube

when trying to download a few videos on u-tube I get an error code : file not found error 404. but the video plays normally on u-tube. any suggestions?

I am having that problem too (see my thread).
It wont even download it completely...I followed the youtube to iPod converter guide...

YouTube routinely makes changes on their server to stop people from downloading their videos. If you are receiving "file not found(404)" or "unknown download error" it is possible that YouTube downloads are broken.

We have just tested this feature before writing this post and we are able to download videos without any issues using the latest version (3.01).

It''s not working because You Tube doesn't want it to work... exactly as they planned. They would like you to stop stealing things. Are you a thief? I don't mean to be accusatory here... just a question we must all ask of ourselves.

It's just the internet... I pay for it so it's all free? No. there are intellectual (what an oxymoron... look it up) rights involved.
