Not converting videos [Archive]

After converting a video all I get is another avi file. Do avi files work with this?

Yes, they do. You're doing something very wrong and/or you think something is happening that isn't really... in all likelihood.

I tried all of these but still it would create an AVI file when using the wizard even though i have the one-click profile set to FLV. I noticed if you do not use the wizard it creates a FLV file but those files freeze within minutes of playing the video via the Media Center.

having the same problem here. i had no problems converting the files but after 2-3 minutes of play back via media center they freeze. i thought it might just be lag or something so i let it sit for 2+ hours and nothing happened. can anyone fix this. it seems everyone is having the same problems. red kawa help?

I've seen this "issue" all over the site. Its forced me to sign up. :D The .avi file is FOR the Wii to read. Theres no problem with the converter. Just take that .avi file, put it on your SD card and see if the Wii reads it. It worked for me!

What if it doesn't work? the first time I converted a video it worked fine, now the wii wont recognize the files i convert
