I need help.... I downloaded a video and converted it and went to library and copied to device. It showed that it was downloading on the psp and computer but when I go to my psp there's nothing there but there's less memory. If anyone knows this and can explain step by step it would be great.

read the section on the sticky about firmware versions. It might clear things up a bit.

yah i did that actually i looked all around but i don't really understand some of it because im not the smartest at computer stuff. I also have firmware 2.00 so i changed the device folder thing on devices in settings to removable disk - MP_ROOT - 100MNV01, and i even tried 100ANV01. and then tried to put it on my psp in both of them but didnt shop up but memory was still gone. I think the problem is about that specific number M4V*****.mp4 thing. If you or anyone else could explain whats that for and how to use that thing it would be great. Thanks for trying to help though.

The problem with the PSP is older firmware will support one set of "standards" and the newer will support another set of "standards" w/o having some issues, eg unsupported format and what not. So you can't take a video that was created for the older firmware and into the new firmware and the other way around. Thats why there is firmware specific profiles in PSPVideo9.
Yes it's stupid and I'm not sure why Sony did it like that.

I guess its better to just ubdate my psp and follow your sticky for firmware above 3.30 and that seems alot simpler, and copy my videos to the psp. Though, I think this message might come up .. Cannot copy file. Cannot read from the source file or disk. If that comes up because it did once do you know what I should do so I don't have to keep asking posts?

You need to make sure PSPVideo9 is setup to see the PSP when the PSP goes into USB mode. There's a section for that in the sticky as well.
