I'm not 100% sure it can be done with mpeg but I can be wrong. This is one of those rare topics. If anything hopefully www.videohelp.com will have the answer.

i've been searching around like a mad dog for something i thought was simple -_- posted at yahoo answers twice and got no proper answers. looks like u're right, its a rare topic.
anyway i got so helpless, i began to think that its something thats added to the video during encoding, thats why i posted here.
P.S. i found nothing helpful at www.videohelp.com but i appreciate your reply.

tbh, i don't think there's a way to do that, or any videos unless it's part of the specification for that file type. Only reason they have it on games was because of game ratings and such.
Even the PS3 is like this, you can look up the parental controls for your games, but there is no section for that on MP4s, even the ones that come straight out of PSN's site.

this is adopted from the PSP quick reference
"The PSP system includes a parental control feature. You can use this feature to set a password and limit the playback of content restricted by a parental control level (games, videos and other content)"
so... yea i believe its possible. maybe nobody bothered to find out more. and i'm close to giving up cuz my knowledge and skills are very limited. :)

If that is the case then unfortunatly you're on your own on that one. Sorry.
