Hi PSPlayer,
The Red Kawa fileserver was an early release of our PS3 Media Center X (MCX) software and is no longer maintained. I recommend you download and install MCX first and give that a try.

Hi PSPlayer,
Check out this tutorial (http://www.redkawa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108&highlight=tutorial) out, particularly step #5.
After you are able to browse to the MCX server remember that before you can download files you must first add your shared folders to a white list. You can find details about that here (http://www.redkawa.com/mediacenters/tutorials/).

i will try that if not tonight then tomorrow and if i have troubles or still didn't work i will get back to you thank you so much.
I'm having the same problem. I've made sure that I'm typing in my IP address correct, I've restarted my router, I've tried everything.
It's really irritating. I don't know why it isn't working.

Hi PSPlayer and Rore,
MCX is essentially a web server running on your computer that serves web pages. The Wii and PS3 both have a web browser and are able to talk with the MCX web server running on your computer. This is how you gain access to your media files.
There a quite a number of things that can stop you from being able to access your MCX server running on your computer.
The first thing you should check is if you are able to access MCX using the computer that it is running on. So if you are running MCX in tray mode right click on the icon and choose the “Launch Media Center” option. If you are running MCX in normal mode then click the “Launch Media Center” button.
The MCX page should load up in your web browser. If this doesn’t work then there is a problem with your installation of MCX. However, if it does work it means your MCX install is working fine, which is great!
This is a good time to make a note of the address and port that your MCX server is using. Write down the full address that is displayed in your web browsers address bar. Using this address try to load MCX from your Wii/PS3 again. If you are still unable to load MCX on your console then you probably have a network issue.
To start, firewall software is often the culprit. Trying disabling your firewall software briefly, restart MCX, and try again. If this fixes your problem then you need to configure your firewall to allow connects to your MCX server.
Let me know if any of this helped!

Well, now that you have it working you should go back to the thread at GS and read all the conversations between me and Mack10. The large file thing is covered there, among some other imporant things that you definitely need to know.
