so I can play wmv files streaming from my xbox using windows media connect

I would like watch the converted files from videora streaming from my windows xp machine. From what I understand windows media connect can only send wma video files. So to watch these files streaming from my computer I would need to use a program such as zune. But I cannot get zune to share its files with my xbox. when using zune it can recognize my xbox 360 but my xbox cannot communicate with my pc. My xbox connects to my computer through a ethernet cable, this is how it also connect to xboxlive. Any tips to get this working?

Have you tried going under the Computer settings on the 360 > Windows Based PC > Disconnect.

Then go back to the video blade and reconnect the computer connection.

Also if your using a router don't forget to port forward 3074 TCP/UDP and 88 UDP.

yeah I tried the disconnect pc, and tried to reconnect with out using windows media connect. well my computer is connected to the wireless router via its wireless card. My xbox 360 is connected to my computer's network card. I have the internet sharing enabled on my wireless card. This is how I connect to xbox live. Do I still have to futs with ports using this method?
