I used the 720p profile for converting to an mpeg-2 for my 360. MediaInfo says the file has a resolution of 1280x720 but when I play the file (using Media Center Extender), it gets squashed, as if it's only half as wide.
I've tried pressing A to get a video menu on the 360 to appear, but nothing happens. None of the other buttons seem to give me a menu, either. Is there any way to get the 360 to show it full screen?
Alternatively, should I just use the 720 H.264 profile instead?
