I just can't figure ANY of this out.

Ok, so I have my camera, all my videos from my camera are on my iTunes, but I can not figure out this program. How do I convert them into the format so I can put them on my iPod video? Not freaking sure if this is in the right forum, this being my first post, but just give me some instructions and you'll never have to see me again.
