I have tried ro download multiple youtube videos today AND yesterday. When I click the download button, it takes me to the page that says "Your video is downloading..." But then it never downloads, and doesn't appear in the status bar.
I tried different videos on youtube and they all don't work. I tried today and yesterday. I uninstalled videora and then reinstalled it but it did not work. How do I fix this?

Sigh... that's 'cause it's illegal. YouTube forbids it... and every time they figure out someone is doing it, they change things so you can't.
I'm tired of all the "help me steal video from YouTube" questions.

If you consider it a pain to assist those who download the software and read the documentation which says that we can download YouTube videos with it....then why bother? Why answer us like we are retarted little children and make us feel stupid?
Some of us are adults who don't consider downloading videos that WE OWN from YouTube...for example...a home video that I filmed...uploaded to YouTube...and then had the file damaged on my PC.....and now we want to add it to our iPod...using software (Videora iPod Converter) that specifically tells us that it is MADE to download YouTube videos. Nowhere does it say it doesn't work...nor does it say it's illegal to download videos from YouTube.
Who says it's "illegal to download videos from YouTube"?? Why is it illegal to download something that was mine to start with...and I own the intellectual properties to?
I guess instead of assisting people with questions...which I thought was the reason for this forum....you choose to treat us like retards and make us feel unwelcomed here.
I see that you are a Senior Member...I would expect something a little more tolerant and friendly from someone who has been around for so long with so many posts. I guess I am just used to other forums where Senior Members welcome in new members and give them the same respect they do everyone else.
Nice way to be welcomed to a new community.

Who says?
Well, gee. I guess YouTube says:
I quote from their "Terms of use":
C. You agree not to access User Submissions (defined below) or YouTube Content through any technology or means other than the video playback pages of the Website itself, the YouTube Embeddable Player, or other explicitly authorized means YouTube may designate.
And, I would think, that in your single, far fetched, but certainly plausible scenario... that if you contacted YouTube with a legitimate login/password and account data, that they would probably be quite helpful in assisting you to retrieve your home video.
As far as respect goes, asking strangers to aid and abet you in commiting a federal crime isn't a shining example.
I've never agreed with the software producer's decision to implement this feature. It's a fairly recent addition and it may not have been well thought out.
