Os X?

I don't suppose the Converter is ever going to exist for OS X is it? Anyone know of a good alternative I can use so I don't have to transfer a file 4+ times just to get it visible on my Xbox?
I have Quicktime Pro...but it severely screws up the quality. It takes a 700mb file and pumps it out at 170mb.
