I converted a good majority of my videos that was avi format and it does not play on my xbox 360 Media Center. I get a error message saying cannot play file it may be corrupted. Now what settings do I need to setup Videora to when i want to convert my avi file? i left it at the default which was mp4. Is there a setting I need to set it up as? I'm very new to this so please forgive me.

Thanks!

I'm starting to think that market place. and burnt DVD's will be the only thing i can get to play on my 360 :( sucks bad. They get you all hyped up to watch all kinds of crap you're forced to watch on the comp, and nothing works =P. Kinda BS. Hope something or someone can make this crap much more simple... choose a file, choose a location for converted file... go and play the stupid file...

I will try to help if I can what did you convert your avi's to

Media center will play back mpeg 2 :)
xbox dashboard will now play back most div-x, xvid, if you have the optional update easy to get you will also need to have media player 11 in the options make sure media sharing is allowed with all ratings enabled. To playback H.264 2ch audio you need to have zune media player and once again allow media sharing. :):D:) It is Very rare that I cannot get a file to play If I can help I will also streaming my content from 3 diff drives as well as using an external fat 100gig for video content plugged directly to 360
