So far I have converted several movies and tons of tv episodes....still tweakin on what settings work and what doesnt, since I dont have a media center machine,,,,,but I have noticed something that just will not work for me...

all the profiles are STEREO only.....not 5.1..... and all of my HD vids have 5.1....... is it just me or is this just the way it is? Since the 360 has optical out....i would like to use it.

you need to convert to wmv-hd to keep 5.1 audio.

The link you posted was to the forums at xbox-scene,,,,,,any paticular thread to look at.?? I have seen posts on newsgroups of 360 friend HD videos..with 5.1.....but how??? thats the question. and does it take days to transcode

I thought it was pretty obvious :) Converting depends on your hardware, the faster your computer the faster it converts
