Unsupported data error

Why am I getting this error? It should be playing on my PS3 without any problems, what gives

That is a really general error. the ps3 really gives us no info. Try opening the video on your computer using all of the following because it might give a bit more data, VLC, windows media player and Quick time.

Are you using the red kawa server to transfer your files to the ps3? Or are you using an external drive or usb jump drive\memory card?

I find alot of time my files give me that error message if I try to copy them with any other means other than red kawa file server.

Whats the wording of your files look like?

Example: Honey I Shrunk The Kids

Should be named - Honey.I.Shrunk.The.Kids.mp4

There should be NO spaces in any of the words in the file name. Otherwise you will get an error. Use periods instead of underscores. Although underscores should work, I did experience a few problems with them.
