Video Type

I'm just wondering what types of videos can be converted that will work on the Wii. For example, I tried converting an .avi file that was DIVX, but it didn't work. Then I tried one that was .mpg and that worked fine. Is it that converetd .avi files won't work?

I haven't tried Wii Video 9 so I can't say how it works. But any type of video can be converted to another as long as your computer has the right codecs. Wii will play Quicktime (motion JPEG) .mov files.
