So I have a Normal SD tv (480i for the video people out there) I am havening problems with Wide screen video. I am getting no options to make it letter box on the ps3. I have played around with the resolution of the video and have yet to come up with anything that is close to right for my tv. I don't know if it is a problem with FFmepg because you are basically a frontend for it or if there is some options that are still untaped.

some of the video I have is are 704x396 and it is cropping off a decent chunk from both sides of the video. any one have any ideas.

I have a Tv thats 1080i and I'm playing a video that 4:3 and I'm getting it a bit being cut off at the top and its to short so I get about 6 inches of no video on each side. Its a 4:3 television so it should show it in wide screen.

Well found out most of my problem was overscan sigh. So what are the chances of getting padding added to the program (assuming that works at adding black space on the edges)
