Hey hello

I downloaded another version of the video and videora was able to convert it and send it to my itunes library.

Thank you anyway for takin' time to help me... i guess it was a problem with the video file codec or something like that, it doesnt matter anyway.

Thanx again.
Greetings

Xiaoooo! :)

I was also having the same problem: after conversion, I got a message saying that the files could not be added into the iTunes library. After millions of forum threads read, I decided simply to create a new account in my Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I call it my "multimedia" account. I do the conversion using that new account that I only use for this and drag the files from the folder to iTunes: all of them have worked!!!

There's maybe some rubbish into our main account settings that does not allow us to complete the conversion+addition to iTunes. Creating a new user solved my problem. I know this is not a solution, but rather an ammendment, but at the end of the day, it helps me load all the stuff into my iPod.

Good luck!!

You need to be using an account with administrator rights

Hey,
if you are using H.246 or whatever, I think it has something to do with the "WARNING codec timebase is very high. If duration is too long, file may not be playable by quicktime. Specify a shorter timebase or choose different container." part of your log. I have the same thing and only short videos will work probably due to the "if duration is too long, file may not be playable by quicktime." part. I am still working on it but as long as you dont u avisynth it works probably something wrong with the codecs. im going to look for a new one and see if i can find anything better.

I also have the problem of being unable to add videos to my itunes library.

Is there a certain format that the video has to be in?
I have Videora and some of my converted videos wont go in there either.

Thanks :)

If it's any help, nothing's been automatically added to my library since I upgraded to iTunes 8.

There appears to be a problem with the utility that adds files to the library with iTunes 8. After upgrading none of my converted files were added automatically. I went back to version 7.7 and it works fine again now.
