I used DVD Shrink to get dvd files onto my computer. I took the one file which is about 600 mb and used it in PS3 Video 9 to convert it to MP4 format. It says its going to take 4 hours and 30 minuetes and this is just part of the movie (5 minuetes of it) Is this right?

Is there an easier way to transfer your DVDS to your PS3?

Thanks

I used DVD to PS3 converter (http://www.soft29.com/dvd_video/dvd_ripper/dvd_to_ps3_converter.html) to transfer my DVDs. It is very fast.

Does this converter create one MP4 file for each DVD?
Does it have to read a DVD or can it convert files already ripped to hard disk such as VOB or ISO files?
How fast is very fast for say a 2 hour movie?

I have this program as well. I use it for the sole purpose of converting dvd's to the ps3. Its does a very good job. Its decently fast and seems to keep the quality in tact as well as any other program out there.

I have the same software and paid the 30 bucks for it. I think it's worth it to pay for if you want things like this to keep coming out which I assume you do?

Only thing is I get errors saying I need to insert storage media for the save destination when I do my large rips.

I got that software also, but I was a bit dissapointed with it. I used the 720p settings, I used a DVD that was on a DVD5, not 9 so it wasnt too large. The end result was a 2 GB file, but when I played it on my laptop, it looked like crap. very pixelated very noticibale changes around black/white text, is there any way to tweek the setting or is everyone else getting the same stuff. It seems loke some of you like the program, but if the image looks crappy on my 15" laptop, I can't imagine what its gonna look like on my 42" HD. Thanks for the help.
