I was trying to convert a movie to be uploaded into my ipod yesterday and then when i cameback 20 minutes later my computer was turned off. I thought someone in my house shut it down but today I tried it again and same thing, while trying to convert the video file it will completly shutdown my computer. Not only that but after it does that I cant turn it on again until I change to a different outlet :confused: Any idea why this is happening??

Sounds like you have your computer set to hibernate after 20 minutes of no activity...

No i dont, i have my computer on all day. I still cant figure out whats wrong

I also have experienced multiple PC shutdowns after varying sizes of my video have been converted... at this point I am unsure what the next step is... it worked fine last week, now nothing...

Are you overclocking your processors? Are your processors properly cooled? It could be a heat issue.
