question about my memory stick

I have convert a AVI movie to MP4, but when i put it into the memory stick, it won't show on the PS3.
I have create a VIDEO folder, and put the file into there.
My PS3 can shows my memory stick under the Video icon, but when i click into it, it said "There Is no title"
why is that?
My video file name is dutch.
no space and not symbols already.
What should i change.

I don't know about symbols but you're free to have any name you want it to be including spaces in between. If I were you, get all the stuff out of the memory card and have your PS3 format your memory card, it will create your directory structure for you so you can put your videos where they belong or create sub directories in those premade directories. It seems like you were doing it right but give it a try.

Other issues I've seen was that the PS3 will show you the video files but will say "unsupported data" which just means you gotta pick a different encoding profile in PS3 Video 9. I can assure you that "MPEG-4 AVC 768kbps" profile works with my PS3. I was using "MPEG-4 SP 768kbps" when i got the unsupported data.
I doubt it makes a difference but the FW on my PS3 is 1.50.
